The adjustable footbrake lever and gear lever guarantee a secure grip. The headlight and engine guards provide the bike with optimal protection, even when things get difficult.
The free option off-road tyres make full use of the bike's off-road potential.
Dynamic ESA (Electronic Suspension Adjustment) automatically adjusts the damping action of the suspension strut based on the riding conditions.

The F 850 GS Adventure has everything you need to make endless tours even more comfortable and safe: The black aluminium topcase as well as the aluminium case for both sides offer plenty of space, and with the “40 Years GS” lettering, you get an extra 27 litres of added volume. The TPC and ECALL systems make you feel secure. The cruise control and navigator, combined with the TFT display, make it even easier to get where you need to go.
The intelligent emergency call automatically contacts the BMW call centre in the event of an accident in order to activate the rescue chain as quickly as possible.
The electronic cruise control can be activated beyond 30 km/h and keeps the riding speed constant.
Aluminium topcase black
With its 32 litre volume, the black anodised aluminium topcase offers space for a BMW helmet, and it performs well even under extreme conditions.
Aluminium case black

The increased volume aluminium case set expands the case’s volume by 13.5 litres of luggage space per side for a total volume increase of 27 litres.
